Singer D4vd Supposedly Named as Suspect in Death of Youngster Located in Tesla
The artist known as D4vd became identified as a suspect in the tragic passing of Celeste Rivas, a teenager who went missing and was later found deceased inside the musician's Tesla car this past fall, according to authorities.
Location of the Remains
The deteriorated remains of Rivas, aged fifteen, was discovered in September inside the frunk of a black Tesla registered to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. This automobile had been ticketed in a Hollywood Hills and subsequently impounded at a tow yard in the city.
Chronology of Incidents
Police believe that Rivas almost certainly died in the springtime, adding that D4vd had probably been involved in dismantling and discarding the corpse. This singer has refused to cooperate in the inquiry, per a law enforcement insider.
This young girl Rivas was initially declared missing from Lake Elsinore in spring 2024. Her body was eventually found in the musician's Tesla after staff at Hollywood Tow notified a foul smell coming from the automobile.

The Houston-born artist had been issued a ticket in the Hollywood area just 11 days before Rivas was discovered in the vehicle, after exceeding the 72-hour parking limit. Neighbors in the Hollywood Hills mentioned that the Tesla had been stationed in the vicinity for more than 30 days.
Celeste's brother commented that the household was informed that Rivas had a connection to the singer and that she was headed to watch a film with him just before she went missing.
D4vd, pronounced as “David,” is a NY-native singer-songwriter famous for the chart-toppers “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his agent were living at a LA property in the Hollywood area in September, according to the home's owner, until law enforcement searched the home.
D4vd has partnered with Darkroom and Interscope. The artist was on tour at the period Rivas's corpse were found, but cancelled those performances after the finding of Rivas's corpse.
